Schedule/Hours
- Monday to Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (Variable/Flexible)
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekend and call requirements to be discussed during interview
- Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- At least 2 years of hospital or travel experience
- Strong background in Pre-Op and Phase II Surgical Discharge; PACU experience strongly preferred
- Excellent IV skills; familiarity with Meditech documentation system a plus
- Provide Pre-Op and Phase II post-surgical care, with patient ratios of 1:1 in Pre-Op and 3:1 in Short Stay
- Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCAs, phlebotomists, and other healthcare professionals
- Administer pain blocks in partnership with anesthesia providers
- Adhere to dress code—facility-provided scrubs, neat appearance, no extreme hair styles/colors, and covered tattoos as policy requires
