Schedule/Hours
- Travel contract; hours may vary by assignment but typically follow 12-hour shifts
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Oregon
- At least 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) RN experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Proven critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Comfortable with electronic medical records; proficient with computers
- Strong teaching and patient education skills
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Deliver patient-centered care in the OR in accordance with the Oregon State Board of Nursing scope of practice
- Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and interdisciplinary teams
- Accurately document all patient care and interventions
- Respond efficiently to intraoperative emergencies
