Travel Operating Room RN (Multiple Shifts Available)
Soliant is hiring an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Syracuse, NY. This opportunity offers multiple shift options, including both staff RN and Charge RN roles, within a busy surgical suite handling a wide range of specialties.
Assignment Details
- Location: Syracuse, New York
- Duration: 16-week contract
- Schedule Options:
- Days/Evenings (Charge RN): 4x10s | 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM (no weekends, no call)
- Nights: 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (1 weekend shift per month)
- Hours: Full-time (36–40 hours/week depending on shift)
- Start Date: June start or 2–3 weeks from offer
- Provide perioperative nursing care across a variety of surgical cases in the operating suite
- Circulate and support procedures, ensuring patient safety and sterile technique throughout
- Assist with advanced cases, including robotic-assisted surgeries
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs to maintain efficient OR flow
- Active New York RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Experience with adult surgical patients
- Robotic surgery experience required
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Charge RN experience required for leadership/10-hour shift role
- Travel experience preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome
