Schedule/Hours
- Travel position with participation in on-call coverage for urgent and emergent cases
- Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska
- Required current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or obtained within first months as required for new graduates or new specialty nurses)
- Competency in operating room nursing within required timelines
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Comprehensive patient assessment, plan of care, and delivery of perioperative interventions
- Coordinate operating room workflow as a circulator nurse, ensuring readiness and safety
- Advocate for patient needs and collaborate with the surgical team
- Document assessments and outcomes precisely
- Adhere to Alaska Board of Nursing scope, policies, and evidence-based standards
