Travel Emergency Room Nurse (RN) - Farmington, NM

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of one year experience in an emergency room setting
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Strong critical-thinking and communication skills
• Ability to respond confidently and efficiently to emergency situations
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and provide direct care to patients with varying levels of trauma, illness, and injury
• Quickly and accurately perform patient assessments and administer emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Document patient conditions, interventions, and responses with precision and compliance
• Educate patients and families on treatments, ongoing care, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain a calm, composed demeanor amid crises to support patients, families, and team members
