Travel Electrophysiology Technologist in Hackensack, NJ

Minimum 1 years Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist experience and RCES or ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours

• Choice of 11AM – 7:30PM or 9AM – 7:30PM
• Options for 5x8hr or 4x10hr shifts
• Weekends and holidays as required; on-call rotation is part of the assignment
  
  

Qualifications/Experience

• background in Cath lab and electrophysiology (EP) settings
• Expertise in intra-procedure mapping, ablation, and implant devices
• Proficient sterile scrub technique
• Ability to recognize and interpret all cardiac arrhythmias
• Knowledge of circulatory support devices (IABP, Impella) and radial access procedures
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive cardiac, peripheral diagnostics, and therapeutic procedures
• Prepare equipment and organize sterile trays specific to each case
• Support patient monitoring and calibrate hemodynamic devices
• Operate power injectors, table controls, and digital cine technology
• Calculate and record cardiac output, oximetry, and analyze hemodynamic data
• Manage vascular access, sheath removal, and apply closure techniques
• Adhere to Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS) protocols
• Participate in inventory management, equipment care, and on-call responsibilities
