Key Qualifications
- Current certification and/or licensure as an Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech), as required by state standards
- Demonstrated expertise assisting with EP studies, device implants, ablations, and other cardiac procedures
- Solid understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic EP equipment usage
- Up-to-date BLS/ACLS certification
- At least one year of recent experience in an EP lab preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work both independently and collaboratively
- Set up, calibrate, and operate EP imaging equipment for scheduled procedures
- Assist electrophysiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Monitor and record patient data during investigations and interventions
- Ensure strict adherence to patient safety protocols and infection control standards
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of all procedures
- Participate in quality improvement activities as directed
