Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care for CVOR patients
- Circulate and/or scrub in cardiac procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
- Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff
- Anticipate surgical team needs during complex procedures
- Document all care and events accurately while adhering to facility protocols
- Support and educate patients and families about cardiovascular surgery recovery
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years recent CVOR nursing experience
- Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
