- Unit Details: 6-bed CTICU specializing in fresh post-op hearts
- Travel assignment; 75-mile radius rule applies
- RN license with 2 years of recent Cardiothoracic ICU experience
- Comfortable managing fresh open-heart patients (CV surg, cardiogenic shock, AAA)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (all current)
- Proficient in EPIC documentation systems
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Deliver safe, evidence-based care to patients recovering from complex cardiothoracic procedures
- Respond rapidly to changes in critical patient status
- Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration and effective communication within the ICU team
- Monitor, document, and report vital changes using EPIC EMR
