Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in imaging, specifically CT, to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. This 13-week contract position is pivotal in supporting diagnostic and trauma care with advanced imaging technologies.

Schedule:

• Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Valid NJ Radiology License required


• Current ARRT(CT) certification


• Active BLS certification


• Previous work in Level II Trauma centers is strongly preferred


• Experience with GE and Toshiba CT equipment highly desirable


• Proven track record as a CT Tech, with emphasis on accuracy, patient safety, and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans and related diagnostic imaging per physician orders


• Ensure appropriate patient positioning and use of equipment for optimal image quality


• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver coordinated patient care


• Practice strict adherence to imaging and safety protocols


• Evaluate images for technical quality and assist with troubleshooting equipment as needed


• Maintain accurate patient records within electronic medical systems


• Educate and comfort patients before and during procedures, providing clear instructions and reassurance

Working in a fast-paced Level II Trauma environment, you will utilize your advanced skill set and adaptability to assess urgent cases and manage varying workloads. Your expertise with both GE and Toshiba CT platforms will contribute significantly to the overall efficiency of imaging operations.
