Schedule/Hours
- 4 ten-hour shifts per week (7:00am–5:30pm)
- Call required after initial week of orientation (12–15 days per 6-week schedule, includes two weekends of 24-hour call)
- Weekday call: 5:30am–7:00am; weekend call: 7:00am–7:00am
Key Responsibilities
- Review patient history, allergies, medications, and consent documentation
- Prepare procedure rooms, including emergency equipment readiness
- Circulate and scrub during diagnostic/interventional/biopsy/electrophysiology procedures
- Administer contrast, operate POC testing equipment, maintain sterile technique
- Recognize and respond to emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary staff
- PA State Board approved RN license (active and in good standing)
- Experience in pediatric cardiac cath lab or critical care preferred
- Proficient assessment skills and ability to care for critically ill neonates through adolescents
- Certifications required: BLS, PALS, ACLS
- Preferred: Knowledge of congenital heart disease
