Schedule/Hours
- 36 hours per week
- Nights 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Weekend rotation every other week
- Holiday shifts required on either Christmas Eve/Day and New Year's Eve/Day
- Active Kansas RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- Minimum 1 year recent telemetry nursing experience required
- Preferred 25 years telemetry experience
- Experience with TR Band post-procedure care
- Familiarity with cardiac drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem)
- Knowledge of Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process
- Provide comprehensive cardiac telemetry nursing care on Unit 4N
- Monitor patients closely using EPIC EMR system
- Assist with cardiac medication management and procedural care
- Float across acute care units as needed
- Participate in a structured orientation including campus visits and virtual Epic training
- Orientation spans several days with a combination of in-person and virtual training
- Facility maintains a nicotine-free environment
- Bi-weekly pay periods
- Potential for shift cancellation with advance notice
- No on-call requirements
