Telemetry RN in Olathe, KS

An opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with strong telemetry experience to provide specialized nursing care in a cardiac unit. Schedule/Hours

• 36 hours per week
• Nights 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend rotation every other week
• Holiday shifts required on either Christmas Eve/Day and New Year's Eve/Day
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Active Kansas RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• Minimum 1 year recent telemetry nursing experience required
• Preferred 25 years telemetry experience
• Experience with TR Band post-procedure care
• Familiarity with cardiac drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem)
• Knowledge of Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiac telemetry nursing care on Unit 4N
• Monitor patients closely using EPIC EMR system
• Assist with cardiac medication management and procedural care
• Float across acute care units as needed
• Participate in a structured orientation including campus visits and virtual Epic training
