Position Overview
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a full-time, onsite position. The educator will provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments while collaborating closely with staff and families to ensure equal access to the curriculum.
Responsibilities
Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments
Conduct functional vision assessments and contribute to IEP development
Adapt instructional materials and ensure accessible formats
Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families
Track progress and maintain detailed documentation
Requirements
Active Texas Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification (required)
Strong understanding of assistive technology and Braille
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay: $38$45/hour
