Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ASL instruction tailored to the individual needs of a student
- Develop and implement lesson plans that support sign language skill development
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to optimize student learning
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and instructional activities
- Adhere to relevant education regulations and school policies
- Valid and active Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate
- Registration under the Speech-Language Impairment (SLI) and Transliteration Registration Act
- Fluency in American Sign Language
- Prior teaching experience, preferably with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
