Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Prepare the operating room for surgery by setting up necessary equipment and maintaining sterile environments
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes or complications during surgery
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Valid nursing license with experience in Operating Room Team (ORT) nursing
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and efficiently
- Contract role with guaranteed hours of 72 hours biweekly (excluding any on-call hours worked)
