Surgical Tech in Lowell, MA

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Prepare the operating room for surgery by setting up necessary equipment and maintaining sterile environments
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes or complications during surgery
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in compliance with healthcare regulations
  
  

Qualifications/Desired Experience

• Valid nursing license with experience in Operating Room Team (ORT) nursing
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule

• Contract role with guaranteed hours of 72 hours biweekly (excluding any on-call hours worked)
