PHARMACIST — CONTRACT TO HIRE
We’re seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire. Retail pharmacists are welcome, with training available for candidates transitioning into this setting.
Requirements:
Active Arkansas Pharmacist License in hand
Pharmacist experience required
Retail pharmacists welcome and will be trained
PV1/PV2 experience preferred
IV experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Review, prepare, and dispense prescription medications
Verify prescriptions and ensure medication safety
Provide medication counseling and consultation
Monitor medication use and identify potential drug-related issues
Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
Maintain pharmacy inventory and records
Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Follow applicable pharmacy laws and regulations
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Rotating weekends every 3 weeks
13-week contract with potential permanent placement
