Soliant Health is currently seeking a Staff Pharmacist licensed in the State of New York seeking full-time employment in a SPECIALTY PHARMACY setting. This is a direct hire opportunity in the Bronx.

Must have an active NY license in-hand and at least 2-years experience working in a specialty pharmacy setting.
A Specialty Pharmacistmanages medications for complex, chronic, or rare conditions by providing personalized patient care that includes medication therapy management, patient education, and financial support.Youll work with high-cost medications that often require special handling, storage, and administration, and serve as integral members of a patient's treatment team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complex medication regimens:
Provide expert guidance for drugs used to treat complex, chronic and/or rare conditions.
Support Patient Adherence
Monitor patients to improve their adherence to treatment plans through ongoing education, follow-ups, and support.
Provide Patient Education
Offer in-depth counseling and education on specialty medications, including training for self-administered drugs like injections.
Assist With Financial And Insurance Support
Help patients navigate the financial challenges of expensive specialty medications by connecting them with financial assistance programs and handling insurance verifications.
Ensure Proper Medication Handling
Manage medications that require special handling, storage, and distribution, ensuring they are delivered to the patient correctly.
Monitor And Report Symptoms
Track patient symptoms and report any issues to the patient's healthcare team to optimize therapy and manage side effects.
Preferred Board Certification(s)
Compensation for this position ranges from $60.00 to $75.00/hour (depending on experience).
