Speech Therapist in Johannesburg, CA

A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve students in a K-12 school setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply specialized skills in school-based speech and language therapy within a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services to K-12 students.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' communication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school policies.
• Participate in meetings regarding student services and IEP (Individualized Education Program) development.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school settings.
• Proven ability to work with a diverse student population from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educational teams.
