Speech Pathology - Hayward, CA

A School-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is open for a full school year contract in Hayward, CA, serving a high school population. This full-time position is ideal for an SLP holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Flexibility is offered with an 80% in-person schedule (four days onsite) and 20% remote work (one day per week).

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language support
• Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to students goals and educational settings
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care
• Document and track student progress and prepare reports as necessary
• Participate in professional development and team meetings
  
  

This position requires a dedicated professional who is hands-on and flexible. Interviews are highly accessible, with two rounds including one virtual and one in-person session. Please note this role excludes the use of voice-output communication aids (VOCO).
