Term: 2024-2025 Academic Year
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8/8:30 AM - 4/4:30 PM (flexible, ideally full-time)
Caseload: 25-27 students, all diagnosed with Moderate to Severe Autism and primarily non-verbal. Many students utilize AAC devices or tablets.
Behavior Needs: Candidates must be comfortable managing intense behaviors (e.g., pulling, biting, scratching).
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join our dedicated team in San Jose, CA. This opportunity involves working with students diagnosed with moderate to severe autism, focusing on non-verbal communication through AAC devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Therapy: Conduct assessments and deliver individualized speech and language therapy.
- AAC Device Management: Support and train students in using AAC devices and tablets.
