A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available within a K-12 school setting in Winston-Salem, NC, designed for a contracted duration through the current school year. This opportunity involves supporting students with special communicative needs, helping them achieve their maximum potential in areas such as articulation, language, voice, and fluency.

- Organize and implement school speech-language programs in collaboration with educational staff and families.
- Conduct screenings, testing, and diagnosis of speech and language disorders; provide expert recommendations.
- Develop and manage Individual Education Programs (IEPs) aligning with student needs and curriculum goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation for Medicaid billing and other required records in compliance with regulations.
- Work collaboratively across interdisciplinary teams and maintain ongoing professional development.
- Use ECATS and Infinite Campus systems for case documentation and billing.
- Provide onsite services exclusively in the designated school environment.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- NC licensure with a G License from the Department of Public Instruction; Board of Examiners license preferred.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience with ECATS is required.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseloads of 40-45 students.
- Professional approach to documentation and Medicaid billing procedures.
- Location: Onsite within the Winston-Salem area.
- Schedule: 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Contract Duration: Immediate start through January 31, 2026.
- Caseload grades to be determined.
