Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Spanaway, WA

A K-12 speech-language pathologist with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a full academic year contract in Spanaway, Washington. This on-site role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language support to students across kindergarten through 12th grade, ensuring individualized interventions that promote communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from K-12
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals within the classroom setting
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and comply with state and federal regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development to support student success
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Experience working with a diverse K-12 student population
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
