A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Rochester, NY, with a contract through the end of the current school year (6/25/26). Part-time candidates will also be considered. This role involves providing direct and consultative speech and language services to students, supporting their communication development in both individual and group settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings and administer formal and informal assessments to identify speech, language, fluency, voice, articulation, or related communication needs.
- Interpret evaluation data, collect case histories, and observe students within the educational environment.
- Participate as an active member of Committees on Special Education (CSE) and Preschool Special Education (CPSE), assisting in eligibility determinations and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or preschool plans.
- Provide therapy services using a variety of delivery models, including pull-out, push-in, and classroom consultation, tailored to student needs and incorporating augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies when appropriate.
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other professionals to implement communication goals and classroom accommodations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, progress reports, and ensure compliance with IDEA and New York State education laws.
- Ensure all services align with regulatory guidelines, including maintaining required certifications and licenses such as the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and TSSLD when applicable.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain best practices and fulfill continuing competency requirements.
- Valid NYS license and credentials required for school-based speech services.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience providing both direct therapy and consultative services in educational settings.
- Familiarity with IEP and CPSE processes, special education regulations, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
