Job Summary

We are hiring a passionate and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team in Orting, WA for the 20252026 academic year. This position is 100% on-site and focuses on serving middle and high school students with a moderate caseload of around 50 students. You will work independentlyno SLPA supportso strong organizational and clinical skills are key!

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students using formal and informal speech-language assessments
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services (1:1 and small group)
• Maintain progress notes and service logs per district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and student success initiatives
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and administrators
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable laws and ethical standards
  
  

Requirements

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Washington State SLP License (required by start date)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY applicants encouraged to apply
• Experience with school-aged students, especially in middle and/or high school settings
• Ability to manage caseload independently and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  
  

Nice to Have

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience
• Familiarity with online IEP systems and documentation tools
• Bilingual or multicultural experience (not required, but a plus!)
