Responsibilities
- Evaluate students using formal and informal speech-language assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services (1:1 and small group)
- Maintain progress notes and service logs per district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and student success initiatives
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and administrators
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all applicable laws and ethical standards
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Washington State SLP License (required by start date)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY applicants encouraged to apply
- Experience with school-aged students, especially in middle and/or high school settings
- Ability to manage caseload independently and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience
- Familiarity with online IEP systems and documentation tools
- Bilingual or multicultural experience (not required, but a plus!)
- Hourly rate:$55-60 (based on experience & certification level)
