This opportunity is based near Norwalk, CT and offers the chance to work across one or two school sites, providing invaluable communication support to a diverse student population.
Ideal candidates will either hold current ASHA certification or be Clinical Fellows (CFs) ready to launch their SLP careers. The schedule is full-time, totaling 37.5 hours over a standard workweek, with no more than 7.5 hours required per day. This role is designed to give new grads the guidance they need, backed by strong professional support and a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) eligibility
- Connecticut state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work with students ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade
- Passion for fostering student growth and success
Responsibilities:
- Assess student speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Track progress and document therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student learning plans
