Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Blue Springs, MO

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
• Current license to practice in Missouri (or eligibility to obtain)
• School-based SLP experience, especially with elementary populations, strongly preferred
• Ability to case manage effectively for a group of students
• Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 76 students, including 21 for whom you'll serve as case manager
• Coordinate and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Collaborate with an onsite SLP-A, leveraging their support to deliver high-quality services efficiently
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and state policies
• Conduct assessments and participate actively in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings
• Work collegially with school staff, families, and administration to drive positive student outcomes
