Speech Language Pathologist in West Point, GA

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in West Point, GA, serving a K-12 school setting for the current school year under a contract arrangement. This role offers flexible scheduling, with hours ranging from part-time to full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) and a caseload tailored to the candidates experience and district needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for speech and language disorders in students K-12
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with relevant state and federal regulations
• Participate in meetings and professional development as required
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License
• Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator Certification
• Candidates who are Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFY) will be considered
• Experience working within a school setting is preferred
