Essential Skills & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure for Indiana as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication abilities, including collaborating with teachers, families, and staff
- Comfortable managing caseloads that span Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Familiarity with IEP development and compliance
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educational teams to integrate therapy into students’ educational goals
- Complete timely documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and support to educators and families
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Utilize a variety of evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques
