Speech Language Pathologist in Norristown, PA

Located in Norristown, PA, this contract opportunity spans the full school year within a K-12 educational setting, seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student communication needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing student planning sessions.
• Maintain precise and timely records related to services provided and student progress.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid Pennsylvania SLP License and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs); Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
• Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification as an Educational Specialist or willingness to obtain certification.
• Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred but not mandatory.
