Speech-Language Pathologist in Minneapolis, MN

This school-based position offers a unique opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to deliver high-quality services in a small charter school setting in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves working primarily with K8 students (ages 514) who have diverse academic, behavioral, and related service needs. The contract position requires availability for two days per week, with the possibility of expanding to 2-3 days as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 35 students.
• Utilize a combination of service delivery models including push-in, pull-out, and consult services.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary special education team to support student success.
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) documentation and management through SPEDForms.
• Offer flexible services via teletherapy, hybrid models, or in-person, adapting to the needs of the school and students.
• Work under appropriate supervision if hired as an SLPA, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Certified or pursuing certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant credential (SLPA).
• Experience or willingness to work in school settings with children ages 514.
• Comfort with teletherapy and hybrid service delivery models.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
