Responsibilities Include
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each students communication goals
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate speech-language objectives within the classroom environment
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions accordingly to ensure effective outcomes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience working with K-12 students experiencing a range of speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize tasks efficiently over the duration of the semester contract
