Speech Language Pathologist in Bristol, CT

Assignments begin in late August and continue through late November, with a consistent 35-hour work week, allowing you to bring specialized expertise to the classroom environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut SLP-CCC license required
• Experience providing speech-language pathology services in school settings
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in developing tailored IEPs and progress reports
• Familiarity with current best practices for supporting student speech and language development

Position Details:

• Contract assignment with placement at either a middle school (late August through November) or an elementary school (late August through November 23)
• Onsite work providing direct services, conducting evaluations, and supporting students with diverse communication needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet state and federal compliance requirements
• Collaborate closely with educators to implement evidence-based support within the classroom
• Engage in IEP meetings and consultation with families and school teams
• Ability to adapt plans and interventions to meet student-specific goals
