Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Active SLPA license
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings highly preferred
- Strong understanding of speech-language therapy interventions for school-aged children
- Ability to work collaboratively with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, and other support staff
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Adaptable, patient, and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced school environment
- Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy strategies
- Support the documentation of student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in meetings and communicate progress with supervising SLP and education team members
- Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and activities tailored to each child’s needs
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment to encourage student participation and achievement
