Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Active SLPA license
• Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings highly preferred
• Strong understanding of speech-language therapy interventions for school-aged children
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, and other support staff
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
• Adaptable, patient, and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced school environment
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy strategies
• Support the documentation of student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in meetings and communicate progress with supervising SLP and education team members
• Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and activities tailored to each child’s needs
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment to encourage student participation and achievement
