Qualifications

• Hold National Sign Language Interpreter Certification (required)
• Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation between ASL and spoken English during classroom instruction and school activities
• Support student engagement and participation by facilitating clear communication with peers and instructors

• Maintain respect for student confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times
• Actively participate in IEP/504 meetings as needed, sharing insights to best support student outcomes
