Qualifications And Experience

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in Florida
• Previous schools-based SLPA experience required
• Familiarity with supporting students who present with general and mild communication challenges
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
• Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and document student progress
• Assist in developing materials and activities that support students’ speech and language development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote an inclusive, supportive learning environment
• Engage in regular communication with staff and families regarding student progress and strategies for continued development
