School Speech Language Pathologist - Talladega, Alabama

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a K-12 school setting in Talladega, AL. This contract position runs from August 1st through May 21st, offering employment during the normal school year (NSY). The role provides an opportunity to support students from 3rd through 12th grade by delivering crucial speech and language services.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students in grades 3-12
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each students needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
• Manage a caseload of 20 to 40 students effectively
• Participate in meetings and consultations related to student educational planning
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with children in a K-12 educational environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain detailed records

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, aligned with the academic calendar
