Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for Connecticut as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) desired, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred; strong new graduates are also encouraged to apply
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Provide therapy tailored to each student’s unique needs, both individually and in group settings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
