This full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity begins July 31, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027. You'll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, fostering communication growth and academic success in an engaging educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state SLP licensure or eligibility prior to start date
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and progress tracking
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Collaborative attitude for working with educators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other specialists to support student achievement
- Communicate with families regarding student progress and strategies for support
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to educational planning
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and legal requirements
