School Speech Language Pathologist - Renton, Washington

Seeking two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to provide comprehensive support within a K-12 school setting located in Renton, WA. These contract positions are available for the current school year, with one role starting ASAP and the other beginning at the end of February. Both positions will conclude on June 12, 2026.

Responsibilities Include

• Delivering direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students
• Collaborating with educators and families to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conducting assessments and documenting student progress in alignment with school and district standards
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote effective communication strategies within the educational environment
• Maintaining organized and confidential records in compliance with professional and legal standards
  
  

Preferred Qualifications And Experience

• Valid state certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working within school settings, particularly with K-12 populations
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and therapeutic techniques
• Ability to manage a moderate caseload with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships with students, staff, and families
