School Speech Language Pathologist - Hayward, California

This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support within a K-12 educational setting. You will work with students across multiple schools, delivering specialized speech and language services tailored to meet their individual needs.

Location: Hayward, CA

Position Type: Contract (CSY)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM 4:00 PM

Responsibilities Include

• Providing comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions to students across high school and elementary levels
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy plans accordingly
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with regulatory and district requirements
• Traveling between schools to serve assigned caseloads effectively
  
  

Work Schedule Breakdown

• 3 full days at one high school
• 1.5 days at Elementary School #1
• 0.5 day at Elementary School #2 All schools are located within a 5-10 minute drive from one another, allowing for efficient travel and time management.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working in school settings with K-12 students
• Strong ability to engage and communicate effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
• Familiarity with educational and therapy standards applicable to speech-language pathology
