School Speech Language Pathologist - Charlotte, North Carolina

A full-time, contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services in a K-12 educational setting in the Charlotte, NC area. The position supports student communication development and speech therapy aligned with school goals and individual education plans. The contract runs through May 28, 2026, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students across K-12 grades
• Design and implement individual and group therapy sessions based on student needs and education plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote speech and language development in the school environment
• Maintain accurate records and update progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines, including ECATS documentation
• Participate in virtual interviews and engage in ongoing professional development related to school-based speech-language pathology practice
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid NC Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience working as an SLP in public school settings, specifically with K-12 students
• Familiarity with ECATS or similar student record systems
