Key Qualifications
- Valid and active NCDPI SLP License (must provide documentation upon application)
- SLP-CCC certification preferred
- Direct experience working in educational settings with school-aged children
- In-depth familiarity with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
- Strong clinical skills in speech, language, and communication assessment and intervention
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, especially for IEP reporting and team collaboration
- Deliver in-person speech-language services to a diverse student caseload (no more than 50 students)
- Conduct formal evaluations, screenings, and progress monitoring
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, addressing present levels of performance and setting annual goals
- Coordinate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student benefit from speech services
- Document all sessions and follow compliance requirements for tracking and reporting student progress via ECATS
- Full-time, contract role: 37.5 hours per week from August 4th, 2026 to May 28th, 2027
- Caseload currently at 39 students, majority receiving speech as a related service
- Interviews held virtually via Microsoft Teams
