Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure/certification to practice as an SLP
- Experience in school settings, ideally with general education populations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and passion for student advocacy
- Collaborative, flexible mindset and proven ability to work well on multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in general education programs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ communication needs
- Create and implement engaging, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
- Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support students’ educational programs and facilitate communication strategies in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise in speech-language pathology and helping shape students’ educational experiences
