Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in New Hampshire
- Certification as a school nurse through the Department of Education
- Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care strongly preferred
- Availability to work onsite, full-time during standard school hours
- Completion of district fingerprinting requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, students, and families to promote student health
- Zoom interview required as part of the selection process
- Conduct routine health screenings and respond to student medical needs throughout the school day
- Administer prescribed medications, first aid, and emergency care as needed
- Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions
- Maintain accurate health records in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding health-related topics
- Uphold infection control procedures and promote wellness initiatives
- Support the emotional well-being of students in coordination with school counselors and staff
