Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A well respected and established school district is seeking a school psychologist to join their team
Qualifications
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required.
ValidState certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for certification).
Strong knowledge of special education laws, psychological testing, and intervention strategies.
Experience working in a school setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations, staff, and parents.
Start: ASAP - End of School Year (ESY), possible renewal for 25-26 School Year
Full Time: 37.5 hours/week
Caseload:
Evaluations/testing, report writing, etc
Floatbetween one Elementary School (T/TH) and Middle School (M,W,F).
Pay: Hourly,dependent on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student learning and behavioral needs
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges
Collaborate with teachers and staff to design and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies
Support crisis intervention and assist in managing school-wide behavioral issues
Provide professional development and training to educators and staff on psychological topics, such as social-emotional learning, behavior management, and mental health
Consult with parents and guardians to offer strategies for supporting students at home
Assist in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment
