A full-time School Psychologist position is available at a middle school located in New Castle County, Delaware, serving surrounding communities such as Odessa and Middletown. This is a full-time, onsite contract role with a 35-hour workweek, ideal for professionals seeking a rewarding opportunity to support student mental health and academic success over the school year.

Key responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, interpreting data, and collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). You will provide counseling services, crisis intervention, and consult on behavioral and emotional strategies to foster a positive learning environment. Consistent participation in multidisciplinary team meetings and adherence to state regulations will also be required.

Qualifications And Experience

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid certification/licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
• Experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong assessment and counseling skills
• Ability to work onsite full time and maintain reliable attendance
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
