The successful candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote positive student outcomes in a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns.
- Interpret evaluation data and present findings to teachers, administrators, and families.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Provide consultation and support to school teams on intervention strategies and classroom accommodations.
- Engage in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes.
- Deliver short-term counseling or behavioral support services as needed.
- Assist in crisis response and prevention initiatives.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
- Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Arkansas certification or license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain).
- Strong background in psychological testing, behavior management, and educational consultation.
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant state/federal education regulations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in K12 educational settings.
- Familiarity with digital documentation platforms and behavioral data tracking systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.
