School Psychologist in Gresham, OR

A school district in Oregon is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a part-time, contract role assisting elementary students. This position offers an opportunity to provide psychological services on a flexible schedule within an onsite setting, starting November 1, 2025, and continuing through May 23, 2025.

Location: Arbor Roses, Oregon

Position Type: Part-time, Contract

Schedule: 10 hours per week onsite (2 days per month, 5 hours each day)

Caseload: Elementary students, varying based on needs

Potential Growth: Possibility to increase hours to one full-time day per month, dependent on student population

Key Responsibilities Include

• Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments tailored to elementary students
• Developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as necessary
• Providing counseling and support for students facing emotional and behavioral challenges
• Ensuring compliance with Oregon state and district policies
  
  

Qualifications Sought

• Active Oregon license or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with elementary school children in educational environments
• Availability to work onsite 2 days per month with flexibility to increase hours
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
