An exciting opportunity awaits for experienced School Psychologists passionate about making a difference in the lives of K-8th grade students. This contract, full-time role is based at a brand-new Autism Center, serving a dynamic and supportive student community. The center—located in a modern facility with just 96 students—caters to children with varying needs, but does not serve a primarily severe-profound population. Each classroom houses only six students, allowing focused attention and meaningful engagement.
Work alongside skilled behavioral specialists, including two full-time BCBAs, and be an integral part of a holistic support environment. Your expertise in assessment, intervention, and especially counseling, will be highly valued as you help shape a nurturing and positive educational experience.

Qualifications And Experience
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students (K-8th grade)
- Demonstrated ability to provide both assessment and counseling services
- Comfortable collaborating with BCBAs, special educators, and other support staff
- Previous experience (or strong interest) working in autism support settings is preferred
- Strong communication skills and an approachable, student-centered demeanor
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and assist in IEP development
- Provide individual and group counseling as a core component of the role
- Collaborate with teaching staff, behavioral analysts, and families to create supportive interventions
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on student progress and best practices
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines
