School Psychologist in Arcadia, IN

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
• Demonstrated knowledge of psychological evaluation, assessment tools, and counseling strategies
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Familiarity with current best practices in educational psychology and intervention techniques
• Previous school-based experience is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Provide direct support and counseling to students individually and in groups
• Develop appropriate interventions and collaborate in the creation and monitoring of IEPs
• Work with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a supportive learning environment
• Assist in crisis intervention, behavioral planning, and the development of preventative programs
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
